Guidelines for Presenters

The Workshop Organizing Committee has prepared a set of Presenter Guidelines that can be found in the Guidelines for Presenters and Extended Abstracts document produced for this workshop. General guidelines are listed here, but in-depth guidelines are included in the document. Please read the document thoroughly, and if you have any questions, contact the NPAFC Secretariat.

General Information for Presenters

  • All presentations must be conducted in English. Interpretation services will NOT be provided.
  • Only authors of a paper are eligible to make a presentation at the workshop. If author(s) cannot make the presentation, (one of) the author(s) needs to notify the Secretariat to obtain approval for a substitution.
  • Promptly notify the NPAFC Secretariat if you must cancel your presentation.
  • All presenters are required to register. Seating will be limited, and early registration is strongly encouraged.
  • The duration of presentations is 18 minutes—15 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for questions/discussion.
  • All presenters (oral, virtual, pre-recorded and poster) are expected to submit extended abstracts. Extended abstracts will be published as an NPAFC Technical Report (available online only).

Guidelines for Extended Abstracts

Please download and follow the instructions contained in the Guidelines for Presenters and Extended Abstracts document which contains important information for workshop presenters. All presenters are expected to submit extended abstracts of their presentations for publication in an NPAFC Technical Report, which is available online only. Deadline for submission of extended abstracts is June 30, 2024.
